We just don't hear about this in the media, why is this?

I found this article on the Web!
1. Tiger Woods (5,850,000 hits)
Yes,
with close to six million hits on Google he’s bigger than Richard Gere,
more popular even than the Dalai Lama. Maybe even God. But then one
prophet did foretell, “Tiger will do more than any other man in history
to change the course of humanity … He is the Chosen One.” (That was
Earl, Tiger’s dad). And another seer spake thus: “He can hold everyone
together. He is the Universal Child.” (Yes, that was Koltida, his mom).
And in case you think that quasi-religious adoration of Tiger is
limited to his doting parents, here’s Michael Jordan’s take: “I really
do believe he was put here for a bigger reason than just to play golf.
I don’t think that he is a god, but I do believe that he was sent by
one.”
My take: It seems to me that when we put our selves equal with God, he then puts us back to our sinful human nature and it always gets exposed. I pray that Tiger can seek the one true God of the Bible and his son Jesus freely given to all who will receive him as their personal Lord and Saviour.

As I watched and listened to the words of Michael Jordan I started thinking to myself wait a second this guy had everything right? Money, fame the best at what he did, people looked up to him; but to see him and listen to this it makes me sad because the one thing he is missing in his life is life itself Jesus Christ as his Savior. There is nothing that can amount up to his basketball prime but the love of God. I how i pray that God shows him truth. Isn't it so that many are like Jordan? They chase for money, family, career, anything to make them happy but at the end it's like chasing after bubbles; once you get to them they just pop and are empty.

If I recall last year when they lost he was saying that he is "blessed" and it's "just basketball" well now he sings a different tune. It's his choice to be stubborn or not shake hands and it is apparent that winning is more important than good moral conduct on the court. If it is "just basketball" live to your words and congratulate the winner. We can all learn from stubbornness, even myself whom I not pretend to not be the moral judge but of him who created us.

I caught a headline on the news today and thought how I could relate this to a biblical teaching.
Here is the article Read article
There are many people who used to live a certain way out of control and happy in their sins, but now they feel like time has passed and erased that bad behavior. I think this article is a good reminder that time does not escape us from God's judgment, sooner or later we will be caught and judged. Do you know Jesus? See here
